Focus of Research :
- Taxonomy of marine finfish and shell fish
- Assessment of marine biodiversity
- Conservation and management of marine fisheries
Background :
After taking graduation in Fisheries Sciences in 2008 and master in Fisheries Resources Management in 2010 I am working in CMFRI since 2012 on marine biodiversity. Presently I am working on taxonomy, species inventory, biodiversity valuations of marine organisms, seed production and breeding of valuable marine finfishes and shell fishes. I have interests in taxonomy of marine tropical fishes.
