Graduated in Bachelor of FisheriesScience (B.F. Sc) from Kerala Agricultural University and completed Masters in FishGenetics and Biotechnology (M.F. Sc) from Central Institute of FisheriesEducation (CIFE), Mumbai. Completed Ph.D. with CSIR-UGC fellowship at CUSAT. Thetopic of research was “Genetic divergence in lobsters (Crustacea: Palinuridaeand Scyllaridae) from the Indian EEZ”. Qualified ARS in the ‘FishGenetics and Breeding’ discipline
